Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. Arrival — Arusha

    Meet and greet at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to Four Points by Sheraton Arusha for rest and overnight.

  2. Arusha → Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast, drive to Tarangire. Famous for large elephant herds, swamps, savannas, and the Tarangire River. Baobab trees define the landscape. Overnight at Acacia Tarangire.

  3. Tarangire → Serengeti National Park

    Early morning drive to Serengeti (14,750 sq km). Game drive en route to the lodge. Optional activities: Maasai village visit and Olduvai Gorge.

  4. Full Day — Serengeti

    Full-day game drives in the Serengeti — the world's most renowned wildlife reserve and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  5. Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    Drive to Ngorongoro watching the migration en route. Game drives inside the Ngorongoro Crater — world's largest inactive volcanic caldera. Overnight at Farm of Dreams.

  6. Ngorongoro → Arusha → Zanzibar (by flight)

    Drive to Arusha for a local flight to Zanzibar. Transfer to Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort on arrival.

  7. Beach Day — Zanzibar

    After breakfast, transfer to the ferry terminal for the crossing to Dar es Salaam. Transfer to the airport for your onward international flight. Alternatively, fly directly from Zanzibar to Arusha.
